Hello guys, just registerd, is it possible to flash my e680 to 680i?

What are the pros and cons?

There arent any cons afaik, just pro's, its just an overall improvement of the E680
Oh just thought of one: its a bit slower

Understood what about Russian text will it still be redable in sms. My phone has English and some language support. But it still reads russian sms's will the flash ruin this or will it still be able to read russian text

The only con I can think of is that I cannot make a local connection to the phone with MidpSSH and/or MuTelnet, and I cannot get the J2ME VNC application to work, but other have gotten this to work (e.g. MrAkai) so I believe that this is a problem with my wap connection (via T-mobile prepaid) and not a problem w/ the e680i.

Ok another question where can i download the freakin firmware it self to start i searched faq's sites etc all i see is instructions on how to do it

Why is it so damm big? cause of applications????

just select the firmware and pst, should be ard 80mb only
