    Default Any way to extract phone data, numbers,emails

    Hi guys, is there any ways to extract the phones numbers , emails to maybe a comma seperated document or some other file as a backup. Just in case the phone hangs and the impt numbers in the phone gets lost. If possible , is there any way to print whole address bk out?

    you can make a full backup with mobile phone tools (mpt) and restore the backup afterwards too.
    Yes, but does it run Linux?

    Maxx, does that include backing up of sms/mms/email too???

    Thought so. Can your backup procedure (copy everything in /diska/.system and /ezxlocal) do the trick, Yantz?

    nope sorry. i thought they are all in /ezxlocal/sysDatabase. but after backing up the 3 files, flash, then restore them back, i couldnt bring everything back. not even my contacts. so i decided backing up contacts with mpt is enough for me

    I believe I once saw strings of sms contents in my phone ... yes, it's in /ezxlocal/sysDatabase/native.db.

    Can't we do something about them???

    i never worked with berkeley db before hehe. i'll let the experts answer this
