Tmp Folder

I've done my telnet to e680 with win XP environment. what have i see, there is Tmp folder. can we delete this file, couse it took much size. mine take 1.27MB.

But is this tmp folder the same as our tmp folder on windows? Windows tmp/temp is for temporary files, right?

i dont know, i already ask my friend who familiar with linux. he told me, tmp folder is same as windows temp file. i dont meant to delete the folder, but the file inside? so is it possible to delete the file inside tmp folder?

if u feel insecure , do a backup first... del..., any probs put back the files..

Better to keep it if you're not sure what files they are and what they do.

if its realy a temp folder, restarting will have to clear it right? Try that.
