Thread: data life time

    Default data life time

okay, here's a question no one have seemed to bother.
it's been to my attention that in pocket pc models, u lose ur data if u take out the battery longer than a certain amount of time (true with complete battery drain).
now, has anyone confirmed this with e680?
data lost include all contacts stored internally.

I don't think you lose the data. If not, the manual would say so?

Don't think you'll lose the data unless your phone is spoilt or else.
It's using flash technology (similar to your memory card, ie. SDCard or MMC), you can't lose the data from the card, rite?

ya flash memory doesn't lose data over time.......can only lose data when electric charge is applied to it

Poor you are ! You have got the malfunction memory. I'd got the problem before with my MMC bought it in China. You should change it ?

Actually there's a little battery inside the phone for that. If you remove that i guess all data will be lost.
Yes, but does it run Linux?
