more important is the better video quality, especial when we record it in 288x352 resolution..

how can you change to 288x352 res?

telnet to
\\169.254.142.2\system\ezxlocal\download\appwrite\setup

open ezx_camera.cfg with a text editor

change
BestvideoSize = Medium
to
BestvideoSize = Large

save it and use the videocam on the e680.
use the zoom 1.9 or higer, under that it will not work

But will it improve the quality of the result? 3gp is blurry. If only we could record in mp4 ...

quality is same like the smal res, but its better to watch them on the computer.

i didnt find the setup for the bitrate for gp3, otherwise will setup to 200kbit..

also the e680 is the first handphone that can record videos in the 288x352res

Hmmm.... y-cyas,
I do not have a /system directory on my phone.
Also, the \ezxlocal\download\appwrite\setup\ezx_camera.cfg
file does not have an entry called BestvideoSize.
It has one called Videosize, which is set to Best.

Are you using the 680i firmware?

i m not using the e680i firmware, i still have the original e680 firmware on my e680.

also you have to telnet it...

may someone send a real e680i for me, thats would be really nice
