    Default Flashing to E680i

Hi, I have downloaded all the files required as per the newbie thread, I have also intstalled the PST and the crack file (and the 6 files after double clicking the crack file). However, when i connect and try and run the Mutliflex. It shows Error. No devices found. Of course i have connected the cell. That apart when i try it after diconnecting the cell i get Pseudo installation which i believe is linked to the files that the PST crack downloads in the folder. I'm so close to it and yet so far. Can anyone help me pull this from here on. Rgds, boo

are you sure you insatlled pst properly by pointing the new hardware stuff to the pst folder?
put your phone in bootloader mode and connect it to your computer, it will detect it as new hardware and you can make sure you properly install it (do not put 'automatically find drivers' or whatever it is and manually point it to the pst folder)

This is the Error message that gets recorded in the ABP folder in the PST folder.

    Line: 139
ERROR: C:\Program Files\Motorola\PST\ABP\E680I_G_0D.C5.ABP_0D.B3.B1P_T674VE_L001_S004_P006_GSOE680IT674VE007_full.hmg was not found.
    File: Y:\test_dev_usb\flash\code\flashdll\pst_fp_fileio.cpp

I havent tried bootloading it. Will do that and let you know.
    Thx mate

    Hi,

I tried with the bootloader setting and it did detect the cell, all drivers asked for was pointed to PST but while flashing i forgot to copy the Cg33 and Cg36 sandman version in time. After it showed flash failed i restraed but the E680 is still the E680 and i'm tring it again though this time it is asking for a lot many drivers than the previous trial. Have i like royally screwed it up or there is still hope for me. Thankfully the phone is as is. Rgds, Boo!

Ok everything went as mentioned. one hitch though, when i try replacing the CG33 and CG36 files they do not seem to replace the existing one bvecause it mentions that it is in use. After the flash failed error and after pulling the chord off the phone on restarting is still as i had it before. Not sure where I am going wrong.

Though this screen appears, now am i supposed to keep the connected through this search for drivers or should i just pull it out from the chord and restart it. In any case the china branding screen doesnt appear. HALP!
