Default Some system problem....I think! Any idea?

Hi all, just brought my E680.....
all wen great but then I notice there is some problem with the software (or the phone itself) ...

    1. the real player and FM radio volume will auto decrease by itself after a while. But when I play games it is ok. After I restart my phone it go back to normal...but not for long.....the same problem happen after a while.

    2. I notice that I cannot delete any singular file using file manager either inside my phone or the SD card. It only show the Delete All option when I want to delete file. If I want to delete only one file I have to connect my phone with a PC as mass storage option the I can delete that particular file.

Pls help to share your exp. on this phone. Do any of you guys have this problems before?

just now I did a master reset and the sound problem seem to ok.
for the second problem I think it is due to the current version my phone using only provide the delete all option. Dun have the option to delete particular file.

hi azn_damien, what version do you have?

one more question....if I format the internel memory (non-SD) will all the software and game missing?

im using the e680i abp firmware now (flashed my e680 to an e680i)
if you want to upgrade your firmware to e680i, read the sticky threads in the e680i forum.
and if you format the internal memory your software and games will be missing. but the preloaded stuff is hidden away in your .system folder (hidden folder) so you can always reinstall them back.

what is the benefit of flashing E680 to E680i firmware?
if we format the memory will not erase all the data inside it, include the hidden files?
can your phone (with E680i firmware) have the option to just delete particulr file or only have the Delete All option?

actually when you press the file/folder with stylus long enough a sub menu will prompt out..then the delete option come out.....
I reliase some time we need to take some effort to learn new things...thanks all for helping me....

    benefits to flashing to e680i:
-theres alot more 3rd party applications for e680i on this site
-easier to organize applications (there is a all submenu)
-can support 2gb sd card (i purchased my 2gb after i already flashed so i cant confirm that e680 firmware supports it)
-nicer looking gui (and nicer looking themes imo)
-is newer so have less bugs
-shortcuts on homescreen so easier to access files
-i dont recall if e680 had a task manager (similar to ctrl+alt+delete on windows)
-events from calender shown on home screen
-if flashed with the modded cg files you already have linloader and mpkg and neo installers already installed
-modded cg files also allow multi-language keyboards
-modded cg files also allow gaintable adjustments to make your phone louder/softer

those are just reasons off the top of my head to flashing. but glad you figured out the submenus =)

I want to try to use the master clear option but I dunno what is the effect....
will I mess up the system after I master clear my phone?
    will the data gone missing?
