Default What went wrong with my Screen Capture?

I tried to take a screen shot of my new theme, but there’s nothing inside the bmp file(150kb)?
    Here are my steps,
    - I copied the scr_cap.lin and the beep.au into my SD card while bmp.exe is in my pc.
    - I click on the scr_cap.lin(using lin loader), go to the screen I want and wait for the beep sound.
    - After more than 30s and I still heard nothing( volume on).
    - I went to the phone place and saw scrraw1.raw. It’s there!
    - Then I connect my hp to pc, click on the bmp.exe and the file in my phone change to scrraw1.bmp. I opened the file but it’s blank! Why?

I restart my phone many times but no hope…Then I might not be able to publish my new theme…mm…I didn’t hear a beep sound, so I think it’s unsuccessful to capture, isn’t it? But…I put the beep.au file beside the lin file. Any other way to solve it?

I had that problem, but managed to solve it. Try converting your bmp to jpg. You can use Windows' Paint to do that. Just open the bmp, and save as jpg ... voila!

Or, move the all three files (scr_cap.lin, beep.au, and bmp.exe) to your Phone folder. Do everything from that folder, including the bmp converting from raw.

after converting to jpg, still the same. i think prob occurs when it's trying to capture. Btw, i can't run bmp.exe in my phone.

I mean running bmp.exe from your PC, with the file being in your Phone folder.

This problem is due to the file versions generated by bmp.exe is not supported by some readers... cant remember which?? so when u use that reader to open it, u see a black screen.. there is a updated version of bmp.exe, but i havent search it though.... so that is the reason....
try the above mentioned method to convert to jpeg... it shld have n problems
