Should I install this scientific calculator into my E680?

Anybody ever tried installing this scientific calculator into the E680? I downloaded this java application file from a website. When I tried to install it into my E680, it says "Untrusted Application". How do I test if the program is safe to install? Will it kill my phone? Can java files be infected by viruses? Please help.

crazyboi, so u did install it into your E680 and it did not kill your phone? how did u uninstall it after you found out you do not like it? i am new to this installing thing into my hp which i just bought a few months back. please advise before i install it.

can uninstall , no prob one


every application... most are untrusted....
but i still go ahead doing it...

Ok i have installed the program. It is not as I expected. I was hoping for a better looking scientific calculator that I just need to punch in the keys. hehe. I wish there are better application software around for E680. It is rather disappointing for such a good phone to lack software.

i am willing to pay if there is a good java application for E680 but so far i have not found any website that sells for this phone model. i am not smart enough to DIY myself in java. i am not a programmer, so how to DIY? can u tell me any other worthy applications i should install, eg. dictionary, road map, chinese language pronounciator, etc.

jus senda chinese sms to urself....
and use the voice thingy to read itout
and there are chinese dict (java) as well....

Java apps can never harm your phone, because they run in a 'sandbox', isolated from the file system.
