picsel browser question?

Sammy, I got the same problem as you after I installed PB2.3. Let me share with you how I solved it step by step, hope it works for you :-
I downloaded the link as provided by maxx and transferred it to my phone.
I run the file PB_GPRS_PATCH.LIN by opening it with Linloader
Then wait a few seconds before restarting the phone.
After I on the phone again and run piscel, my phone didnt hang anymore after I chose M1 Data when prompted.
If u followed my steps and still cant solve the problem, maybe before runnin piscel, go to network and chose your respective ISP Data network and connect to it. Once u see that it is connected, u run piscel again and try to visit a known website to test.

thanks vaporixm.. i did all the steps ..
on network i dont have M1 Data as an option.. I have a cingular one created w\ the settings for wap that were used for browser..
browser still connects.. but picsel just freezes???

any help is greatly appreciated

You probably wouldnt have M1 Data as an option in your phone because of different service provider.
For my case, my service provider is M1, and I have the following choices M1 Data, M1 MMS, M1 GPRS - the only choice that works for me is M1 data.
For your case, maybe you could try all the different options under your service provider and see which one works for you? Thats how I found out for myself before someone posted it in the forum.

Another possibility is that it has not freezed but because of the speed of connection, it really takes a while before normal webpages fully load, so it seems like it has freezed when actually it is still loading.

does anyone know the step by step of uninstalling picsel
