Default New Phone Doesn't Start Up

I received my new e680i 2 days ago, but it doesn't start up. I recharged it twice, overnight. The red button lights up during charging, but in the morning (and the rest of the day), when I hold the start button, I just get a blank screen with the backlight. No menu, and nothing happens, none of the buttons activate anything. Today, the T-mobile guy put in a SIM card, and still nothing happened. Does anyone know what I should do, am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

sounds like somethings wrong with the firmware. try flashing to a different firmware (check the sticky threads in the e680i forum)
if that doesnt work than you got a lemon for a phone

if u can try a service center, try it first. cuz its brand new phone, they must be responsible for getting it to work...
