Weird. I got it to the point where it's asking for the USBLAN drivers, but it can't find them in the driver location. Anyone got any suggestions?

Edit: Figured it out. There are some missing \ in the FAQ that are needed.

    Kewl, will try 2.6 later.

I still use 2.4 ( Slackware 10.1), driver compiled with few warning may come from gcc's optimization flag ?

after build the src, I did :
    #modprobe usblan
it's load the module ok ( /var/log/messages tell that new driver ACM installed and new device at /dev/ttyACM0 )
but no interface like usbl0 , usb0 is available
I tried to rmmod acm ( autoloaded when I load usblan ) then re issue #modprobe usblan
the log say new driver usbnetd registered, I try ifconfig -a , ifconfig usbl0 up , ifconfig usb0 up but still not find the device
any method working around with this ?
    any help are appreciated,
    thanks !
