the HS801 works only with e680i and not e680...
Help me please!?
I am trying to pair my E680 & HS801 headset accessories bu twithout success!
There is nothing wrong in pairing procedure as by headset manual provided by Motorola. My phone did recognized Motorola headset when power on but at the time when I should enter passkey: Entering 0000 sequence I was waiting for reply witout succeed!?
Second time when I try to pair those bluetooth devices after entering passkey I was getting reply: Bond failed?
How should I check my phone is everything OK or something is wrong!
Another thing phone bluetooth manager gives me some phisical address of my bluetooth device which is:
00:0A:28:3C:89:32
and I do not have any trouble when pairing with other phone, sending data and receiving data...
When I try with qonsole Neo application, after logging as root and typing:
ps axf | grep ezx_bt (enter)
result is as someone in this forum is mention:
6 processes are started as follows:
/usr/SYSbt/ezx_bt /dev/ttyS2 1 115200 060504030202 1
with those pid: 214;227;228;229;230;231
bt_address: 060504030202 isn't correct as what I was getting from bluetooth headset manager?
Why, and what should I do?
Is anything wrong with phone...

What do You sugest :
Which bluetooth wireless headset You recommend to use for Motorola E680.
In the mean time I try Motorola HS805 and it failed like HS801 do?
Does Motorola bluetooth chip BCM2035 support does devices and if does which type are supported?
How can I try something using Neo qonsole application and binary utilities, blueZ package for example?
I don't have big experience with Linux, only basic knowledge. So, please give me some instructions set to use logged as root in terminal window.
How You figure that HS801 isn't supported with E680, You type some set of commands or what?
Thank

i think the problem is w/ software, the stereo audio bluetooth profile is simply not supported w/ the standard e680 software. If you want stereo audio via bluetooth either flash to e680i, buy an e680i, or intstall bluez and figure out the A2DP protocol and how to get it working w/ the native soundmanager.
the easiest way is to buy another compatible headset for e680, or you can update the e680 to e680i and use the HS801...
i just tested a smal flash mp3 player with inbuilded bluetooth that can be use as a headset. i became this mp3 player for free from a friend and it worked as a headset on my e680(not i).

HI
I figure out that the problem is with Bluetooth 1.1 software, which didn't apply A2DP profile for stereo audio via headset devices!
As I understand hardware (bluetooth BroadCom BCM2035 chip) is supporting implementation of A2DP software!
Flashing E680 to E680i means that the same hardware in E680 supports A2DP profile?
Is this correct?
So did anyone knows How to implement this profile in E680 without flashing, with bluez binaries, or...
Have someone did tried this, and if did he succeed in this? If does succeed how should I do that?
In any case if for know on this isn't available, I should bay bluetooth mono audio headset or what?
Thanks

yes, it is only a software problem and not hardware..

@cyph
Thank You
I don't like to flash my phone to E680i, because of Motorola garanties.
For now on I'll wait until someone make GUI bluez manager for the phone!
Until then I'll buy mono headset as to use bluetooth technologies.
