My E680 is dead :(

I had my E680 for about 5 days and everything was working fine but this morning it won't power on or charge. This morning I notice my phone was working fine. I made a call around 9am and notice that phone battery was on low. I finish the call and I notice that the phone turn itself off because it ran out of battery so. When I got back to my office I plugged in my usb cable to charge then phone but nothing happen. I turn removing the battery and putting it back in again, hold the power key on for a long time and unplugging and plugging the usb cable but phone will not response. Has any one had this problem before? Phone never got wet, drop or any kind of abuse. It has been charging for 30min now and still dead. I am so disappointed. I phone mot will repair it because I got this phone from hk and not in the US.

i had. it will revive automatically. i don't know how but maybe leaving it with another battery will help.

i think this problem happens when the battery is real flat. mine was in the same situation.

if you need a new battery, you can just buy a vxxx one. Those are sold in the us.

if batt is run out , u cannot use USB cable to charge it
u gotta use the battery charger

I had a weird experience after having my e680 for a couple of months, it turned off in the middle of WAP browsing, and would not turn back on.

I removed the battery from it for about 2 hours and then put it back in and plugged it into the charger and the screen came on with the "battery charging" and I was able to turn it back on.

It's been fine ever since. Scared the crap out of me at the time though, since I have terrible cel phone karma.

you cannot charge the e680 with the usb cable if the phone is DEAD.
it has to switch to modem mode before it starts charing, meaning it has to be ON and able to switch modes.. just go home plug it on the wall charger and it will be fine

your opinion is right, my experience is same. For charging in the first time, you should plug the phone on the wall charger in 15 hours. and few time after that is also. Remember to use the phone until it out of power before charging. After thet you phone should be use in 4.5 days.
That is my experience. E680 can not be charge with the usb charger while be out of power and the modem mode is turning on.

good for you, my battery is dead so I had to buy some shitty V600 battery and it's only 550mAh and 3.6V. Wonder how long will thisone survive.

didnt know that you could use the v600 batt.
any other batt compatible with the e680?
