I am going to kill this phone!

Guys, i just spent close to 100 dollars on a 1gb sd card. Its toshiba aswell!

So i put around 940mb of music on the card. I put the card in my phone and this chinese writting comes up and it doesnt work. Other times i will put the card in my phone and then i would go to file manager and i will click on the sd card and nothing will happen. It will just freeze up.

Can anybody help me please? Im goign crazy. It has been like this for close to a week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

format the sd card in the phone and not on the computer. also connect the phone to your computer with the usb-cable(phone in usb-mode works with windows, linux and OS-X) and copy files with the computer File-manager to your phone.

insert the sd-card propperly in to phone.

if that not works with you toshiba card, then bring that card back and change it with another one.

Yeah ... a good memory card should have "LIFETIME WARRANTY" written on it.

what operating system do you use on your computer?

if you use the windows 98, NT or ME you have to install the USB driver.
on linux you should have a similar distry to the suse 9.0 or better.

do you shwitched from "modem mode" to "usb mode" on your phone?

setup -> USB Mode -> choose "Mass Storage and push "Done" then connect the phone to the USB on you computer.

i have done that mate. Its really strange. I want it to work i paid so much for this card!!!
