which firmware version did you flash on the E680?
you can only flash the firmware up to C5A4P , the firmware after that (C5A9P, C5ABP...) you will need to obtain the modified version.
Hi,
I recently bought a cheap 2nd-hand e680 and tried flashing it with e680i firmware (using the excellent guide and PST multiflash). However, it is stuck at the Hellomoto screen and will not get any further. I've tried reflashing it with different versions of the firmware, but it still does the same. I've also tried telnet-ing into it, but no joy. Anyone got any ideas?

I tried the C5A4P and the C5A9P and they both had exactly the same effect.
stuck at hellomoto screen for how long? try waiting a few minutes. freshly flashed phone will take some time to boot
I've left it for more than 15 minutes with no change. When stuck, the only way to power off is by removing the battery.
what is the actual name of the c5a4p firmware? and how big is it?
The file I used was E680I_G_0D.C5.A4P_0D.B0.B1P_T674KV_L001_S015_P004_GSOE680IT674KV006_full.shx
(222,080 KB). The flash process finishes and the MultiFlashFlex shows it as a successful flash.
