    Default 1Sec black screen after 30 sec with ePlayer (NEO vers.) e680

    i instaled the ePlayer Neo version and when i play a Mpg-movie (divx video, mp3 sound) the screen goes black for up to 1sec every 30sec.

    can we set up that the screen will light forever until the movie is finisch like with the real player?

    i found these settings in the config file from ePlayer under
    diska\.system\java\DownloadApps\MIDlet00295\Files\NeoInstalled\.mplayer\

    # Write your default config options here!
    vop=crop=240:320,rotate=1
    fs=1
    nortc=1
    noaspect=1
    double=1
    idx=1
    dr=1
    cache=8192
    hr-mp3-seek=1
    framedrop=1
    sws=4
    osdlevel=1
    menu=1

    also can we increase/decrease the volume? if yes, how?

    I use ePlayer_b7 Neo for E680i and it is not happen to me. Where did you get that package? Maybe...it's for E680i because there are 3 types, E680.mtf, E680i.mtf and A780.mtf.
    Check it here :

    or because your lcd sleep time set to 30 second...try to set to 5 minutes.
    I've tried MPEG (mpeg-1 format and mp3) and AVI (divx, wmv, msmpeg4_v2 video format and mp2 or mp3 audio format), all work but I get some lags....Did you try other format?

    my ePlayer Neo version is from here:

    http://www.www.motorolafans.com/inde...r=asc&start=15

    Mpeg-1 filesize is too big..
    i just tried it with a short(85sec.) funny clip ( .mpg format) one in the original with 25FPS and a converted one with 15FPS in divx/mp3. the orginal one runns with sound very smooth and without lags, the converted one runns with sound well too.

    also some 3gp video works, but not all and the sound lacks again and again.

    will test some more videos soon.

    NOTE: i can NOT download/ any files (ePlayer) or just read the page from ccmove. ccmove use a page thats maded from M$-page builder aka Frontpage or similar, so i have to use the IE-browser, but i have linux on my computer.

    Seem Yantz created it from E680i_ePlayer_b7.mtf and E680i_b4.pkg.
    We should ask to Yantz first...but where is he....

    @Yantz
    He.... 8O Did you get 1 sec problem too, Yantz? Or that's because I set the backlight sleep time to 5 min.
    Sorry...Yantz I changed the ePlayer's icon.
    @Y-cyas
    Did you try to change backlight sleep time, Y-cyas? And do you already have the version for E680? If not yet, I will try to search in chinese forum for you.

    Actually, I love the rm format than avi or mpeg format.
    More smooth, no lack, small size...and ePlayer is just for tell ppl that my phone can play avi and mpeg format too...

    no, i didnt change the display backlight of my e680, because i have to change it all the time..

    i didnt find a ePlayer for the real e680.
    thanks for looking...

    the ePlayer will support up to 25FPS by 320x240res with MPEG1 videos, but the best results to get 25FPS we should turn off the phone antenna, especial when you are want watch a longer movie with ePlayer, so the CPU will put more resource on the ePlayer (and wil have much less lacks) than the phone-send/receiving part. maye we should try that on the real player too.

    also ePlayer can handle with .mov files
