How can I successfully Telnet into my Motorola E680?

I try to TELNET but I don't understand the following directives:

4)The drivers are installed already. You should have a new network detected & the ip address assigned should be 169.254.141.1 (ip might be different)
5) Typing ipconfig /all should let u see 2 adapters, your local LAN n the Belccarra USBLAN Driver.

???What does it mean???
Could u explain what I have to do after 3)

hm.. if I'm not wrong,

after u installed BELCARRA USB LAN DRIVER, and after you add additional command at btblan-demo-15ec-f001.inf, you just have to map network drive.

if you try to see the ip configuration by typing ipconfig /all at MS DOS prompt, it will show 169.245.142.1 (it may be diffrent on your computer).

To map network drive, use window explorer,
click Tools->Map Network Drive
Choose a drive ( for example drive Z: ) and fill the folder
with \\169.245.142.2\system (if you have diffrent ip address, just add the final digit by 1)

Done.

Thanks 4 all but..
I didn' t detected a new network & the ip address (assigned 169.254.141.1) I only have my IP adress and DNS Server IP...something like that: 80.10.246.1 ...it didn't telnet with 80.10.246.2!!!!

I installed BELCARRA USB LAN DRIVER and added additionnal command (ExcludeFromSelect = USB\VID_22B8&PID_600C
%BTCUsbLan.DeviceDesc% = BTCUsbLan.ndi, USB\VID_22B8&PID_600C
HKR, Ndi, DeviceID, 0, "USB\VID_22B8&PID_600C")
but I have no new network!!!

Did I miss something to do????

Did you use hyper terminal and add AT+MODE=99 ??
This will change your phone from USB modem to USB LAN.
You need the computer to detect your phone as USB LAN.

My computer has detected my phone as USB LAN (DRIVER) but by typing ipconfig/ all I can not see 2 adapters...
Normaly I should see my local LAN n the Belcarra USBLAN Driver right???
Is it named "driver" or something like that???

When you type AT+MODE=99; it will find new hardware.

Direct it to c:\Program Files\Belcarra\USBLAN to install the driver

use start -> run -> \\169.245.142.2\system to access your phone.

When I type AT+MODE =99 nothing happens...I can not see or detect anything.
Could u explain to me the next directive step by step.. How can I find the new Hardware after typed AT +MODE =99???
