Mayb its time to flash to E680i?
i realized that i can not install any apps on my e680 anymore..
the last one i could install was the MobileDJ.jar but after that did't work on my phone i deinstalled it, but the icon did not delete propperly.
after that i tried to install the MobileDJ.jar again, it installs but there is NO icon at all. also i tried to install another java program and it installs but without an icon.
i think my e680 database is messed up...![]()

I like late adopters of any kind. They're very careful about making decisions ... LOL.

So, does your InstalledDB etc. still look good?, or are they broken in any obvious way?

maybe your installeddb somehow got changed to root? try:
ls -l /ezxlocal/download/appwrite/am
i can not telnet in e680 with my suse 9.3 (kernel 2.6.11xx) exept one of your guys has a trick for it, but i will test it out on an other computer that has windows 2000 or xp and with bacalrra USBLAN..
i will try it tomorrow evening when i have more time...
I suppose you don't have qonsole installled? (Because then you can check the stuff without telnet).
Have you tried to replace the memory card and see if things start to work then? It could actually be your memory card that is starting to wear out.

i think its not the mem card... also i havnt another mem card for the phone, but may i will change it anyway if the 2Gb/4Gb cards not expensive anymore and works in my e680....

cool... my e680 works again, i can install apps again
i think the directory
\\169.254.142.2\system\ezxlocal\download\appwrite\am
allows just 50 - 70 kb data, cause i tells me it is full when i wanted to save the modified database there, so i delete some backup databases and tried the original database i had before -it works...
strange but it works now...
by using a windows 2000 computer and telnet in..![]()
