somebody can help me regarding to install or upgrade e680 to e680i using new firmware ?
please refer what diffrent to use firmware e680i ?
i think so many member or motorolafans not understod about that (firmware how to use/install)?

What faq's?? where?
Where are firmwares available that don't give a "Unknown Super File Version" error?

I just want to flash my E680 hoping it will stop crashing all the time (mostly while playing alot of MP3's and stuff)

I really want to flash my phone but can't find any firmware that doesn't give an error (Unknown Super File Version).

Is there a FAQ online that names the SHX files used?

I downloaded like 9 different firmwares, they all give the same error so i aborted them.

Edit: i found a logfile that gave these errors from the flash program;

Found a FAQ but can't find the C3 file it talks about.

Anybody got the C3 firmware or can i just ignore the error?

Never mind..
My phone is dead now somehow

Fully charched it yesterday, installed PST on my XP PC..
Started downloading a C3 firmware with 3kb/s so i went to sleep to wait for it..

Just woke up..

Phone still connected to USB but can't seem to power it up nomore and connecting it to the AC adapter doesn't help.

I'm still hoping it's the battery so i'm waiting for a friend who also had a E680 to test my battery in his phone (and the other way around).

lol.. i just managed to access the bootloader..

What i had to do to get it was not easy.

First i removed the battery for about 1 hour (becouse after about 20 failures i thought i'd wait a bit longer then 5/10 minutes without a battery)

The i hooked up the A/C adapter and tried the bootloader keys and it worked!

So this prob means my battery is dead or doesn't charge no more.

Ok.. got another battery.. and i can start the loader now.

So somehow my firmware is screwed (didn't do the flash yet, only installed the software)

I'll try and flash now..
