Check out Apple webpage.. and they advertised that itunes works on moto handphone..
It'll be cool if E680 can support itunes as well..![]()
does the itunes software support just only 100 songs?Cingular Sensation
As the exclusive U.S. carrier for the Motorola ROKR, Cingular Wireless offers great plans to go along with your iTunes-enabled phone. Only Cingular lets you get in on the action of ROKR and all its musical mobility. Plus, ROKR phones from Cingular come pre-upgraded to support up to 100 songs. That’s a lot of music for your money.
the mem card for e398 (and others such as a780) transflash is currently only available up to 256mb.
Yes, but does it run Linux?
hjmm.. a 256Mb mem can hold up to 50 mp3 in 192Kbit quality by around 3.30 min...
Motorola e680 (flashed to e680i) + 4Gb SD card + HT820 Stereo BT Hedphones,
Ubuntu 6.10 + 7.04,
Nokia N95 + 8Gb microSD
actually the 512 is out and that can hold about 120 songs. and theres no point getting itunes on the e680 if it limits it to 100 songs
but if someone can manage to get it work, who knows if there is a way to tweak it it increase the number of songs like what was done to real player.
They already cracked iTunes to support something like 1000songs, not need a seem edit to use, and even work on iTunes 6 for E398 so the hardwork is probably already done (I know all this cos I just sold my haxed up E398 :P)
But I don't really understand why you would want iTunes on the E680/i if it already has Realplayer and some nice looking Winamp-like app in development that has an EQ!
Plus, it's never going to happen kids - Unless Motorola released a linux based phone very similar to the E680 that included iTunes.. which based on what I've read about the complications of working with Apple on the ROKR is just not probable.
