    Ok let me start first...

Firstly, when I first buy this phone(end Dec 04), i dunno this is linux phone... and in the first place I dunno wat it can do n wat it cannot... Bought it becos of a good promo with a $200 free voucher... im only paying for S$300..
and also with a free 512 MB SD, whu can resist this offer...

But after exploring... find that linux phones sucks in apps.. its a great pity cos alot of games n apps cannot be ported over so soon... n it really sux to have a Pda type screen (like O2 mini) but u cant really have full screen games, apps running (wats more u have a 1 GB SD support, wat can u possibly put... to addon to that misery, there is no document readers for office..... so that really sux big time...!!! but if u look at that price, comparably, those document reading cannot be achieved only until in recent symbian OS S60 Phones, but it cost a lot more, like N6670...
Now wat abt mpx models that runs smartphone OS?, they are like mini windows, capable of reading documents but is sux when u wan really phone fuctionality(if u using those touch screen types)..

My conclusion is that if u wan great multimedia, sound support, phone functionality, n some basic PDA stuffs, this phone is great...
If u are looking into loading this phones with lots of apps n games thinking this is a full-fledged PDA, then u will be disappointed.....

With the A780, it has everything I wanted to begin with: EDGE, quad band, real HTML browser, A/V playback, and small size. While it would be great to have some native software to expand the phone capabilities, it really wouldn't be necessary. Java apps can fill some gaps, plus the fact you can put java apps into the background is a plus.
