    Default Bluetooth Bluez(suse 9.0) and e680 and nokia 7650

    i installed the suse 9.0 rpm versons of the Bluetooth stack, and just works for the nokia 7650, so i can send files between my computer and the 7650 and back, but with the e680 does not work, it just shows the name of the e680 in my linux under sdp:/(konqueror) but if i open it, its empty, on the 7650 it has some services in it.

    how can i do taht shows the services from e680 in my computer ( under s d p : / / E 6 8 0 )

    also how can i bond the phones with the computer -that one i vergot it from last year when i used linux with the 7650...


    alos i have the kernel patch "patch-2.4.21-mh10" but i do not know how to patch the kernel..

    Have you tried checking for services by hand? (using hcitool ans sdptool)

    you should be able to bond the phone to the PC by first doing a search (on the phone) then selecting "bond"; the pin # that the PC uses can be found in /etc/bluetooth/pin. (I found it useful to change the contents of /etc/bluetooth/pin to a simple 4 digit number, sometimes the default pin has characters it in that I can't seem to enter when the phone asks for the pass key).

    on the hcitool scan it find both phones the 7650 and e680.
