E6 General Chat Motorola ROKR E6 is somehow a candybar version of the A1200 as they functions very similarly but with far more multimedia capabilities!

I know, this script is just for E6, but I tried this on my V6 to see if it works

Hey Alpha et al,
Since installing this I have noticed that my gprs signal indicator is constantly switching between 'G' & 'E'. I never thought anything of it, but today I noticed that when the indicator is on 'E' any data download stops until it goes back to 'G'. In other words, if I am loading a page with the browser it stops when it is on 'E', but starts back when it returns to 'G'.
Anyone ever experience anything like this?
Is there a way to return the phone to its original gprs?

Thanks.

Ok, I have solved the problem & I'm laughing at myself a bit.
I did this mod over a year ago & because I checked and saw the the phone was now quad band, I assumed it was successful. Eventually I saw an 'E' pop up on the phone and this helped to confirm that it was successful.
However, I did notice that the phone would be constantly flipping between 'G' & 'E' and again, I assumed that it might have been an inconsistent or incomplete system here where I live.
Eventually though the phone would loose gprs service & I would have to call the network for them to restart the gprs service on their end. Soon, I noticed that I seem not to be able to find gprs service where others on the same network could.
Next I noticed that the phone's battery was dying very quickly. This was solved if I disabled the gprs.
I recently travelled to the US & encountered a problem with the phone going in a rebooting loop the moment I turned it on. I was able to figure out it was linked to the gprs and figured a way to disable it & stop the cycle. I eventually moved from the east coast of the US to the west coast & decided to try enabling the gprs. Though it worked, I did notice that even up here, it was still doing that switching thing, plus I noticed more (see post above).
It finally got it through my thick head that I should get over my fear of re-doing this mod and it has now solved all the issue.
Now the phone is always on 'E' and the speeds are fast.
Hope this helps anyone with similar issues.
I like my phone again.

When i was using XP, I had to use the hyperterminal mode, and it works... Now, i'm on vista and what pain in the 4zz... right now i just made it; thanks to all posts and solutions, but... for me, no one works!!!! (sorry)
I figure it out, following this steps: (please read it all first!!! then you follow)
Install RadioComm 11.7.4 set win 2k compatibility mode;
RDS Lite 4.3 (this was the thing messing around... have it installed)
Drivers 3.7.0 (read previous posts)
Set phone on Modem mode;
Open RadioComm > Features > Flash (for this u need the RDS lite installed)
It will ask for a file, just pick up the alpha's one, but at the end you'll install it like the tutorial in page one (all credits for the owner) rds will open, leave it that way;
Connect!!!! the phone. Now the driver will be installed and the USB icon of RC will flash red-green several times and finally goes green.
Alpha's script installation!!!!
And finally QUADband on E6
Tnks to the community, keep sharing please... chill
