Alright, now hopefully you have the appropriate drivers installed.. I assume so.
Now here is are the instructions for hyperterminal.
1. Put your phone in Modem mode.
2. Connect your phone on your computer
3. Check what COM port your phone is selected to. To do that to the control panel and go under printers & other hardware. Now phone & modem options, click on the modems tab, and check which com is connected to your motorola USB modem.
4. Remember your com port, now click run on windows, and type hypertrm, it will launch hyperterminal. Now in new connection name just anything you want... for example E6. Now it will ask you for number and other stuff... skip all that and click the last drop box labeled "Connect using" Now find the com port your phone is connected to and click ok
5. it will now ask you for properties.. Again just click ok without changing anything.
6. Now you have the dialog box. to test if you phone is connected right type AT then hit enter. If you are connected it will say OK.
7. Now to connect moto net, type the following ATMODE=13 then hit enter. it should say its connecting to motnet... If it does then you are done. Leave hyperterminal open as is and now launch radiocomm, you will notice that it will have like a pink/purple color now. That means the phone is connected.
8. Enjoy seem editing!
** once you are done then you can close both programs.**
If you are still having an issue with hyperterminal try restarting your phone, or deleting your drivers and starting over.
Good luck
