E6 General Chat Motorola ROKR E6 is somehow a candybar version of the A1200 as they functions very similarly but with far more multimedia capabilities!

Hi Alpha,

Your script surely saves a lot of time, very nice!

However, the connection icon on my E6 is still G, it does not change to E anymore. Quad is enabled just fine.

--------

Edit: I just edited the SEEM edit with the 01 or 03 value. It changes to E now. The speed on my tmobile connection is still sketchy though. Thanks Alpha

I know for a fact that it is not a problem with my script. Check your local coverage of EDGE. If you dont have EDGE in your location then the E will not show up. I put it so that the E only appears when you're in a location with EDGE.

If it is set to 01, i.e. always on when in EDGE coverage, would my battery drain faster?

Thanks!

No the battery life should be the same as if you had GPRS. Only 3g really drains your battery, but of course we dont have 3g on this phone.

Your welcome!

The icon is dynamic, right Alpha? It will change automatically to E if I'm in EDGE covered area even if I am using the data connection--browsing or downloading e-mails.

Make sure your phone is in modem mode. Also if you want. delete radiocomm and install the drivers i have uploaded on the dowload section under pc applications.

Also download radiocomm 11 if you dont have that one as well.

If you are still having issues let me know.
