seems t edge signal s weak in my area..
n i wud like to delete edge n use t old gprs, which was faster.. i tried master clear n master reset.. but it shows a blurred/faded 'G', n i'm
unable to acess gprs..

You need to use radiocomm again and change the related bits for edge. When you have a look at the script it is quite easy. Here is one example from storing an element:

So for disable the Edge functionality, you need to set the following seems to these values.

Element ID= 0341
Record #= 0001
Offset= 0000

Element ID= 02AF
Record #= 0001
Offset= 0000
Length= 0008

Element ID= 0032

Data= 03

To change Element ID= 010A is not necessary.
Element ID= 0025, 0171, 0032(Offset50) is related to quad band.
Radicomm: Under GSM2 STELEM/RDELEM type in these data and press STELEM to store new data.

I think it should work, but values could be different in other firmwares and other hardware models.
So it is a good idea to make a backup before using this script.
