Just a note/warning/reminder, because some may not be aware of this:

*you will need to redo all the other seem edits after running this script, including the edge always on fix*

....even if the phone or firmware was already edge enabled, it will cancel the 'always on fix' that comes with the edge-enabled firmware

Thanks Alpha43.. i followed the steps listed and now my rokr is set to Quadband.. but when I launch gprs it shows with the E symbol.. is that correct.. I beleive we still do not have edge enabled here in India on Airtel network...

I have a problem i can do the other sript of the voice mail and time, but i can't do this one, and i try by hyperterminal i do all the things and when i type AT it says ok but when i type ATMODE=13 it says error. try to reinstall and install everything again and again just cant not do it

Hello Alpha43 and everyone,

1) i try to mod my E6 to Edge with your instruction as page 1 and install
radiocomm and usb driver from your download section.

2) after few times of install / uninstall the software and restart the pc, but
the USB icon shown in RED and Radio Detection shown in BLUE when
plug in USB cable with E6 Modem function.

3) i get the message: M-Link-Motorola USB Device Not Found.
FYI: Radiocomm v11.1.0 GSM, Mode: M-Link USB and USB: ???.

4) i also try the hyperterminal method but the result also the same,
USB Device Not Found too.

5) your suggestion will be much appreciated.

you probably need to install the motorola drivers, you can find them in the downloads section

maybe it's jsut me but i cant' find the script file anywhere...it doesn't seem to be attached to the first post..perhaps some one can re-post it?
EDIT: i found the file and got it to work flawlessly.. Thank You Alpha!
