Starting over...closest firmware to factory

Alright tried the 08 and hybird firmware and they work well, even did the qaud and edge update. But for somereason I keep getting multiple copies of the same MMS which is really really annoying. Im not on a network plan so when I download them it cost me. Im thinking the problem may be the edge...So im wanting to go back to 02.? or 06. firmware. When I tried flashing from 08. to hybird quadband still there. and vice versa. Any idea how to get rid of the quadband? I think the edge is still active too because if the quadband didnt erase why would the edge. Any help...greatly appreciated.

Or could anyone post the OEM seems just for the edge hack. I know the steps figured i'd just replace modded for OEM.

The f/w you are looking for is 06p, it is OEM factory unlocked/unbranded. I use it, it works extremely well.

I agree .06p is the best. Im using stock still and no issues. Works and Sounds great.

Alot of people like the .08 firmware but me I like the stock .06

.08 Has diffrent games and Voice Reconition and EQ added to real player.
