How to Cleanly uninstall .pkg files

You can also uninstall the pkg apps by the following way:

1] Tap the MPKG Program Icon to see the Dialog Box.
2] Select "Uninstall" from the Dialog Box.
3] It will show that "Unistall" has been activated.
4] Now go to the Program Icon you want to delete.
5] Tap and Hold to see the pop-up menu
6] You will see Uninstall and Properties (if you don't see this try again the step 1-3)
7] Select the menu item "Uninstall"
8] After the uninstallation has been completed, rerun the steps 1-3 with other option "Properties".
(if you try to execute any other mpkg program now, you wont be able to do it).
9] This should make other mpkg programs executable again.

guys i know there are half a dozen mp3 players for rokr E6 but is there anything WHICH WORKS???..i tried zmplayer-no...rockbox-no...winamp-no..i jus aint so comfortable with realplayer..i want smthin which could be fully controlled in the D-pad and no need of touch..

Try eXMMS Player.

It also has equalizer option.

This you can control using media keys like Play/Pause, Prev/Next, Volume Up/Down.

But for rest of the functions you'll need to use the touch screen.

Also, in built-in Real Player you can't control all the things using D-Pad.

To acess the option meun you have to go to touchscreen.

I prefer media keys than the keypad, as they can be used anytime whether the player is on screen or behind,

but to use D-Pad to control Music, the plaer mst be on screen.

What do you mean by editing codes???

dear! search for all the lines which starts with 'name='
this will contain the name of the file than trace back the words above it and see if u get the line starting with " [ ] " with a code written inside these brackets.delete starting from the " [ "till you get the line starting from the word " visible = 2" and delete it till "2" .
now u r done...

Thanks man, Good guide. Got rid of my unwanted icons. I used word pad to open it. Works much better then just notepad(looks like notepad++)
