calling people who are in contact list

is there any way i can call my friends from contact list without using the touch screen?

well u can call using VR n say the phone no. or the name of the person in ur contact list...

Anyway, it only takes one hit, once you're in the list you can scroll and select using the directional pad.

As said, scroll up and down using the directional pad. When you find the contact you want to call, simply press the "call" button, which will open that particular contact to show you the numbers. Select the number you want to call (cell/home etc) and press the call button again.

till now i had just used vr as an alternate for dailin a no. from contact without usin touchscreen....>>>

Man, you really are making it complicated now! May I ask why you want to do this in the first place? Defeats the whole purpose of a touchscreen only phone.

I really don't know if its possible to access the address book without touching the icon. Even the shortcut keys cannot be set up for this.

Closest you can get is list out the calls received/missed/made listing by pressing the call button.
