I am proud to announce the first E6 'glitch free skin'
I wonder how come I am the only one whop cares about these glitch ,
even the most recent iphone skin has those glitch ( when making a call home icons will become gold regardless of the skin you are using same thing when receiving a txt msg while in a phone call or when you receive a call while using the Camera)
they are pretty easy to fix once you know where to look , they are maybe other glitch in this skin for those using more then one phone number or when using conference option , I didnt test these feature , plz pm me if you find any glitch thx . they are a few pop up for some reason I couldnt get rid of the blue
if anyone knows how to lmk . hope others enjoy it as much as I do.

Just extract then rename the old iconres.ezx in DAG_Silver folder in your memorycard and put this one in or just delete the old one ...one in

the top two bars i like, only thing i'm not too much of a fan of is the font.

what i really do like is you have the same ' style ' as me, i prefer the slick type and you provided.

will post bugs if any come along.

Well actualy the font are not in the skin they can only be modified if you are ussing ahman's hybrid firmware and in order to do so you need to mod the phone with a startup1.txt and the coorect font renamed to myfont.ttf , in other word you can use the font you want , but only if you have ahman's f/w cuz default E6 f/w the font mod doesnt work .

19 download .. glad some of you like it , its my 2nd skin and it took me a few hours to get all those icons together , please post any bugs ...

DAGr8.. Can you educate me on how you made this glitch free skin, I have made some using the A1200 method, and I still get the gold icons and such. Could you maybe make a tutorial, or pm me on what steps you did differently? BTW great skin.

ITs all about the gnb and the gnb_cam icons in the Iconres.ezx ...

Basicly the A1200 uses a set of 6 icons per home icons while the E6 uses 8
so you have to change / rename and copy an average of 4 files per icon in both mode total is about 24 Icons needs to be modified .

To learn how to modify the iconres.ezx read the stickies in the Skin Forum , I can if needed tell you the exact list of names to use in order to 'fix' the skin , remember tho I said easy , it is pretty boring ( and long) ..

The stickies in the Skin forum are very welldone and Eakrin is a great guy and does give great support <3 Eakrin !

I was about to load this skin, but then I saw a post on the A1200 forum where they said that I need to do a bunch of stuff to load any theme/skin or I could brick my phone.
Is it just a matter of installing the .lin file on your .rar file with linloader or do I have to follow the other guide?
And could you explain how do I change the font type on the phone (I already got ahman's F/W).

well download the skin take the iconres.ezx in there extract it , and there you go

no actualy it is not that ' tricky ' on the E6 , I think its becuz it handles its cache memory better than the A1200 ....

All you need is linloader installed ,
create a 'theme' folder in the root of your sd card ,
extract skin there ..
make sure the dag_silver.lin file is in the root
open the lin file with linloader (hold the screen until menu pops up and choose linloader
wait 30 -45 seconds
restart phone there you go .



About the fonts modificaton its the exact same step as in the A1200 since ahman's f/w is a hybrid f/w of a1200 and E6 .

if you rather not read here : just extract this to the root of your sd card and restart the phone is ( you can always change the fonts to something else if you dont like these , just rename any font file to myfont.ttf and replace mine)

Quick question--why does the Ring Styles icon always show up stretched? This happens in all the skins I have installed on my E6..
