USB Net Patch here!!

Hey guys, got my E6. Attached is my first patch: It has the net button is the music button, the custom key is alarm clock, all 4 shortcuts edit-able, USB Net enabled in USB Mode list. It works great!


Just flash it like you would any monsterpack.

My next will have this, and quadband and edge pre-enabled.

Could you make a patch with just the usbnet option? I already have the other patches but don't want to make my net button my music button until I order the different keypad..

You want it set to the net button? I'll attach a script here in a bit to switch the hardkey back.


It is customizable. Here is how to change it:


1: Set the customizable key to what you want the net key to be.
2: Telnet phone
3: Open up Samba
4: go to /ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/
5: Open up 'ezx_hardkey.cfg' in Wordpad
6: Copy the stuff next to 'customizedkey = ' over the stuff next to 'carrierkey ='
7: Save it
8: Restart phone
9: Change Custom key to whatever you want

Hey, just flashed that USBnet patch and I still do not have the option listed under my USB Mode. I am using 08P if that makes a difference...

Nice work! I have the Quadband and EDGE thing all covered already. I created a script that does it all in one shot. I will releasing it very soon here on the forum. So you can start working on wifi instead. haha

lol thanks. I'd love to start working on the SDIO stack, but i don't have any drivers for it yet Also, i need to learn to decompress the kernel and then compress it. Other than that, I'm almost done w/ my SDHC mod
