Default E6 modem connection using usb/Bluetooth for Mac on T-mobile

As the title suggests, is there anyone out there who is currently able to connect using the above configuration? I tried the A1200 method and got the phone to talk to the computer but the connection dials, authenticates and then hangs up almost instantly after that. Can't figure out what it is. Help anyone?

(btw this is for a Mac system on T-mobile USA)

USB or Bluetooth, it don't matter, I just want a live connection on my notebook

    thanks in advance

I've been playing around with this for several hours today and I can't get this to work. Like you, I get as far as authentication and then the modem hangs up. Here's my settings:

Phone: ROKR E6 with FW R533_G_11.12.08P with Quad/EDGE edit
Computer: Apple MacBook Pro with OS X 10.4.9 and BlueTooth
Data plan: T-MobileWeb unlimited plan ($5.99)
    Modem script: linux-smartphone, modified "wap.cingular" to "wap.voicestream.com" (from http://www.osnews.com/story.php/1224...-Cingular-GPRS, dated Oct 13, 2005.)

In my OS X Netowork Control Panel, under BlueTooth, under Proxies, I have Web Proxy (HTTP) checked and the Web Proxy Server is 216.155.165.050 (and I also tried 216.155.165.50, 216.155.165.051, and 216.155.165.51), and the port set to 8080. In the BlueTooth Modem menu, I've enabled and disabled error correction and compression, and also enabled and disabled Wait for dial tone before dialing. I've tried the Telephone Numbers *99#, *99***#, and wap.voicestream.com. I've used random Account Names and passwords, left them blank, and tried a combination of leaving one or the other blank.

When I click connect, these are the status' I get from the modem status on the Finder menu bar:
    Dialing...
    Connecting...
I then accept the Dial-Up Networking Gateway request on my ROKR E6.
    Connecting...
    Authenticating...
    Disconnecting...

The whole process takes about 20 seconds, and I know my phone does make a data connection because the E (EDGE icon) animates with a green underscore on my ROKR E6 screen. Can anyone help? I've searched many forums and threads, but all I have found are solutions for other phones and other modem scripts. THANKS!

    UPDATE

Still can't get it to work with my ROKR E6, however I was able to successfully tether with my RAZR V3r using the Null Modem 115200 script, enabling Connecting using terminal window (command line), and entering at+cgdcont=1,"IP","wap.voicemail.com", [RETURN], atdt*99#, [RETURN], and [Continue]... I'm sure there's a modem script or AppleScript for this and I'll worry about that later... But at least I know it's not T-Mobile causing the hang-up... it's the modem script.

BTW, I could not duplicate this same procedure with my ROKR E6, that is, using the command line to manually send AT commands using the Null Modem script.
