is there anyway to make a theme or a skin to make the texting keys bigger? also if there anyway to make your own themes? I would like to try and mess around with the files and try to make the keys bigger for texting

1) Not ATM. It's not that simple.

2) Check the Moto Skins forum. Follow the guide to making skins for A1200, it's pretty much the same as the E6 in that respect. But there are slight differences.
