I have both the E2 and E6 and use the motorola HT820 and Nokia BH501 bluetooth A2DP stereo headphones and they work fine with both. So easy to connect and switch between the two.
So...has anyone tried sending and recieving things via bluetooth yet? If you have...I was hoping that you would have the same error that I have been having =).
Problem is that sometimes some phone can find me, but they can never send anything over. It is rare, but when they actually find me, the file wouldn't send at all...which is pretty wierd. Has anyone experienced this problem at all?
my bluetooth's Firmware version is: BCM2045B1_002.001.0013.0235

I meant as in connecting with someone's phone to send ringtones or music over. It is just weird...no phone would send things to my E690. I hope its not a problem with my phone...because I don't remember messing with the bluetooth at all.
Does anyone know if the difference in bluetooth versions effect their connection?
Oh I see. Perhaps you need to turn the phone's Discovery ON. My E2 and E6 won't get connected to any other BT phone if I don't make them discoverable - something I never experienced with SE phones. Once the BT is up, they're discoverable. But not with the 2 motorolas I have. The BT may be ON, but if they're not discoverable, no other BT phone can connect.
And I don't think the BT versions matter when connecting. The differences are just the bandwidths and the profiles supported. Phones with different BT versions should be able to connect with each other.
