Google Maps?

Does anyone have Google Maps running on this phone? I read that Google Maps won't run on the a1200 due to the lack of a keypad (Google Maps is a Java application), so I am guessing it will not run on this phone either, but I hope that it will. Thanks for any feedback.

It works and it doesn't at the same time.

everything will work except, getting the word by word direction.
for example. step one turn right to *** street, and you have to press
the number pad "2" to see the next direction (or the next turn) in words.

however the map does display a highlighted course of how to get from point a to point b. plus you can just zoom in on it to see a clear map of where you're suppose to turn. so it's not too bad.
