Alright dj or alpha, your making it look easy.
Still waiting for my E6 to arrive, tomorrow so they say.
But let me ask you this.
    1.E6 is turned ON
    2. Plug in USB cable that came with E6
    3. Run RC v11 which is what I have.
    4. Do I need to configure the 2 tabs on the RC Start Screen to get to this main screen to do the edit?
    Thanks

Once you plug the phone to the cable and open RC and connect you just click the GSM2 tab, plug in the edits one at a time each time restarting the phone, done......

Hello to all, and PLEASE HELP! I was able to download what looks like an unlocked version of RadioComm. It is version 11.1.0. I should have my E6 this Friday and although I understand much of what I have read in this thread, I am a bit confused on a few things. First is this version 11.1.0 ok to perform the 850mhz mod? Second can anyone verify how the settings should read? I wanted to see if the program was functional so I pluged in my Moto A1200 and opened the RC program. Under settings USB I checked M-link USB driver because there was an icon in the taskbar reading M-Link: Motorola USB Device Not Found. I clicked search for devices under settings and it also advised me that there is no device found. I do have several USB items pluged in, but I have one spacific cable i use for my phones. What am I missing? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

Could be a driver issue you have. I recommend two things..

    1. Uninstall radiocomm and all drivers from your computer.
    2. Flash your phone in order to reset your drivers.

So then Alpha are you saying my settings are ok? If someone could list the proper setting I would be grateful. Could be something I'm missing. I just installed the RC yesterday and tryed my A1200 right after that. Do you have a good link for the RadioComm version you used? And is the RadioComm freeware, do I need a crack or registration code, or will i need to purchase it?
So is it true that no mater where the phone is pluged into my PC as long as it's a USB hookup the program should find it?
I am new to this and have never flashed my phone either. What do you suggest I use to flash it?
    Thanks in advance.

    Another thought;
Should the phone's USB mode be set to modem or mass storage?

Also Radiocomm should be in M-link usb mode.

Alpha, I did read the entire thread, and i did click on your link. I asked about the cost and the crack/registration code for that exact reason. Your link took me to a site where it was either temperary or I had to purchase it. I saw no mention of the cost factor in this post and was wondering if everyone had purchased this program or if there was another way to get it free. Like I said the version 11.1.0 I downloaded was free. Lets face it none of us like to buy programs if we dont have to. I appreciate your help, and trust that I am reading everything thoroughly. I am just brand new to this and dont want to make any mistakes.
The phone was in mass storage mode. I will try it in modem mode tonight. Thanks.

Aside from www008w, you can check that it's working in: phone -> setup -> network setup -> search setup ... and on band it shows: 900/1800 or 850/1900.

Americatel, could you keep us updated about your progress on the spanish firmware? Thanks.

    Andrés
Ok I did the quadband seem thing, so if I get 900/1800 it means that I have quadband, right? The www08w doesn't work for my phone.
