I second some of the reactions in this topic. I used an E680 (with i firmware) for two years, and I got an E6 in April. The phone is much sleeker (e.g. easier to carry, fits in my pocket and I barely notice it, unlike the E680) and it looks more modern, which was one of the key reasons for me to upgrade. Furthermore, the 3.5mm headphone jack is really nice, I don't use A2DP so I had to use a convertor with my E680, I can plug my favorite headphones straight into my E6.
Another big plus is that the touch screen is level with the casing. The E680's display is sunken into the casing, which makes scrollbars and buttons close to the edges of the screen much harder to operate. The E6 is very finger-friendly, with one big exception: SMS (and text input in general, numbers are very easy, though!). Pretty much everything else can be operated with one finger (e.g. thumb) which makes the interface very fast and efficient. It's also very responsive (faster than E680i).
The speaker(s) on the E680 are better, but any mobile speaker sucks for music anyway, if you want serious audio quality, use headphones.
The E6's screen is brighter as well.
