Rokr E6 Incoming call Problem ???

Just got New E6 in canada on Rogers Network

when people call me after 5 rings it goes to voicemail (but my phone does not ring) I have min of 2 signal bars

anyone have any ideas ??

software Problem or is it because it does not have 850 mhz ??

How can I tell what software I have on it ??

Its not the 850 thing. Most of Rogers phones are tri-band so.

As for it doing that might be a software issue or master reset the phone and reconfigure it.

Gotta agree with TBFB, the E6 by itself doesnt support 850 unless u do a SEEM edit and i've seen the same problem a few time from my customers, so yeah, i figure its a firmware issue, go get it flashed, should resolve your problem. seen it a few times on other phones too and a re-flash set it straight.

by anychance do you live in vancouver? because my friend bought an LG chocolate phone and the same problem happend. I bought an E6 and i am on rogers also. Hopefully it wont happen to me when i receive the phone.

I live in toronto , going to try the quad band seem edit , I will let you guys know how it works for me, then I may upgrade software version.. P.S.

Did the quad band Mod .Have 5 signal bars, Thanks for your hard work , Question I have the 02 software how do I upload the 04 sofware flash using RC,then do I have to re do mod with newer flash ?? still having some incoming call probs , phone wont ring sometimes with full signal and no problems with outgoing calls

This is an issue with Canadian users... Call your carrier and have them take off name display option. That will fix it.

This is an issue with Canadian users... Call your carrier and have them take off name display option. That will fix it.

What exactly is "name display option"? Does it have anything to do with the alphatag?
