  1. Default simcard not working

    please help me
    i put a simcard in my rokr e6 and its showing no simcard
    its saying this for docomo and vodafone simcard only but others r working please help with that

    Strange!
    have you checked those SIM cards on other phone if the SIM cards are working well...
    if other SIM are working then phone seems to have no problem

    .....or looked like that the SIM-terminals (copper) get dirty?

    phone is ok
    i went to moto service center they told me reason is that now the sim r 64k previously it used to be 16 k and phone is old so they have to install a software to make it work they r charging to much for that
    if u guys hav any software help me with that

    its 100% network problem i say ...... i got the problem(signal catching) just few days back ,i just called to operator customer care (tata docomo) ..... they said problem with network even thought same sim workind fine in other phone

    i use a 64K SIM type too on my, and is okay. and it's been 2 years.

    i think it's just an HW problems around the SIM-driver Chip, or maybe the chip itself. in which the only qualified persons might handL this (and so the Motocenter does)
