    bro I have changed the cg2.smg with yours... but there is no change still the phone is showing 'G' instead of showing 'E' what to do now?

    first backup all smg you are going to replace then
    try replacing all BP smg that should do the job if you face any problem then create firmware with old smg and flash

    I hope this must help you after flashing try master clear and master reset may be that is causing problem

    replaced all smg's with yours, did master reset n master clear both... the problem is still here no 'E' icon... are you sure the smg's you provided are edge enable? can you tell me the procedure to add quadband in a firmware

    well buddy those files are from 22P which I use and has EDGE by default and as how much I know is that BP is responsible for EDGE and GPRS on a firmware of phone so it should work may be you can try my firmware 22P which is EDGE enabled firmware I don't think AP is related to EDGE so you can give it a try while I don't know how to add quadband to firmware you can ask shantanu on how to add quadband to firmware
