    Unhappy Transfer sms from e6 to pc

    I have a moto rokr E6. I'v tried using Motorola PC suit that i got with the phone. It doesn't even have Motorola Phone Tools. So i downloaded it from the net. But When i connect my phone to it, the software doesn detect my phone o the signal is too weak. Pls help me with me. IS there any other way to transfer msgs?
    I also get this error WFP2N.dll is bad

    Download this application: 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download yan0_SMS_CONTACT_DUMP.rar

    You will need to extract your main.db file and transfer it to the PC. Search around the forums on how to do this.

    Unhappy copy sms from E6 to PC

    Hi,

    Apart from MPT is there any other software that can copy sms and contacts from E6 motorokr to PC. since MPT is not recognising any sms thats more that 160 characters..

    you can use the backup application to extract messages from E6 as txt files

    Thanks, but isn't this an app that needs to be installed on the mobile?? if so its saying package invalid.
    may I know of a software that can be installed on the PC like the MPT to save the SMS on PC..
