How to use 4GB SDHC

I have 8GB sdhc sandisk card, using the sd adapter that came with E6 3 yrs back.
Not able to use whole 8GB though. (Still looking for a N95 to format )
I formatted it to 4GB with FAT 16 using GParted Live CD. 4 GB is now usable.
I am a bit busy with my schedule. (I am a practising doctor ).
So no time to go to local mobile shop and get this card formatted by N95.
Other Mobiles which i have had access to till yet, supported max of 8GB, formatting the card with them didn't work.
So i reverted back to 4GB formatted by GParted Live CD in FAT 16 filesystem

well i have formated that 8GB SDHC card with SD formating software by panasonic ..........its showing in the rokr 4091 MB,better than previous

......... well when im connecting to my laptop ...........its not detecting even,but i had already 4Gb Transend SDHC Class 6

I got the formatting to work in E6
by first doing a full format and then doing quick format next time after a restart.
To get full 4GB on my card.

I am running MFUNS Beta2 F/W, flashed with SDHC patch and fix blank camera patch

I have a SanDisk 4GB SDHC card, which i am tring to run on my E6e but, it is not detected at all in my E6.

What format do i Have to format the card to get it to work?
FAT16 is only upto 2GB.

How can i partition the card into two 2GB partitions?

Actually I can use "EASEUS ALL-IN-ONE Partition Manager" (free)
to format a MicroSD (SDHC) Card to FAT16 and result a 4G disk.

You have to delete the FAT32 partition first then create a new FAT16 one.
