Help - Urgent - E6 Not Detecting Network

Hello Friends,

I have a big problem with my E6. Previously E6 faced problems in detecting the network while roaming.
Now it has become a serious issue as it is not even detecting the home network also.
One of my friend says that it may be hardware problem.

Can somebody please help me on this. FYI, I tried with different simcards. I tried manual searching of networks (It says "cannot find network")

Does flashing the phone will help me or there is some other way? Or I'll have to go for hardware repair.

You can give a try to flash, but most of the chances it might be problem of flex assembely(the cable which connects the daughter borad to main board).

Daughter Board:- The Board in which we inserted the Sim Card or Memory Card.

So if your phone is in warranty terms then go to motocare...

Bhai... yes you are correct about flex assembly... because just now I am facing following problems:

1. Sim card not detected. (The phone is displaying options of Antenna Off/On)

2. I am not able to save any picture/video in memory card, so camera gives error because default location is memory card.

3. As already mentioned, the network is not detected.

Since my cell is not under warranty now, so I think I may incur more charges. I asked at Motorola Service centre, they said they will charge 150/- just for checking.

But Thanks very much bro for Flex Assembly info... I would be glad if some more info I could get on this.

If you get the flex ass externely , you can replaced it easily by your own with the help of service mannual or dissassembely video.

Flash generic 08P firmware...
Master Reset + Master Clear

Yes dude, I will try to get flex assembly externally. I have also asked to my local mumbai friends for good local shops if in case I cud not get it done by myself.

dude you can get it done yourself...
service manual gives al the info u need.Recently i used the RAZR V3 service manual provided by haryanamotolovers.It was easy.
