ya i'm always using it but what i want to do is expand the system ram so instead of 46mb i want to make it for example'' 100mb ''

As far as I know RAM of each and every machine is hardware related. That is why sometimes we get to imput RAM chips to improve the PC's performance. And the function of swap is to take the allotted amount of memory from the MMC to use it like RAM BOOSTER in Vista. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Why dont you rather tell us as to what is it that you are trying to achieve, and we'll try and find solutions for that.
"I want to run application A, which requires RAM Y, and i have only X. Help!" is a better question than "I want to increase my ram from X to Y"![]()
