Download : Opera switch to Default Browser

We can't use the Opera Mini V4.2 as the default Browser to download files because this features works on JSR-75 [Its a JAVA tech. found in latest phones]. As its absent in MOTOROKR E6 thus Opera Mini can't support downloading or uploading files in E6!

Ya evn i have this problem. but thot dat by default for dowloadin a file only the native browser opens..
after reading the above post can i say it wont b possible to download file using Opera Mini 4.2 directly.. or our Modders got somethin on their mind????

its should work if u follow my instructions,
in my phone its work...
check what you om can acces local drive, ceck saved pages on bookmarks,
if not see menu saved pages, it mean yor om not allow to access local drive.

repeat again my instructions,

or check what u'r vs of OM, i'm Useing 4.2
or i suggest you to using opera mod (it can download multi download in same time with dowload manager, and support multi window)

It works, it sure works for me.

@VanHelsing: JSR 75 is supported in E6. OM4.2 uses a strange certification policy to enable/disable memory access; so this is a bit of a known problem with many phones.

Like coliv said, do everything step by step and it should work. Also download the unsigned version using the phone's default browser and install directly. Do not go through the comp. I have done this, and i also am able to save pages offline.

after hacking is done by java hacker just tap on the opera mini icon for 4 seconds then select manage then permission. now tap on never ask for each one then tap ok.
that's all.
now u can download through operamini.
