This is awfully offtopic So if any moderator wants to move/remove this post please feel free to do so.

First of all.. Thanks for the understanding (the polite part - even if I don't really get my share of rude part)
EDIT: Second: this post is going to be really boring

I'd like to believe I helped some guys around here at some point.. I might be wrong... They're the ones to say if I had any contribution to this forum..
I used to be quite a big fan of this forum (power on the computer, run firefox, check motorolafans.com ) but after a while I just left it as I was too busy with the exams... So now I'm kind of visiting from time to time, so to say So, you see, I can't be of much help if I'm not frequently checking the forum. I usually just login and see if there's any new application, discovery or something.

As for those 3 replies you're talking about... I was extremely bored at the time.. But that doesn't change a thing I still believe you were kind of lazy for not removing that file yourself. And as for this recording ideea, I don't know what's the problem. I do that really frequent even to record the output of my computer speakers so I'm quite fine with the ideea. I just wasn't expecting someone to pop with this topic.

Also from this great awfull boredom I managed to figure out something noone wanted to share with us: http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/e...tml#post235232

So... Now that I made my first fully offtopic post I can't say anything else but: Ask what you want to know... BUT first search through the forum. There is an incredible amount of information. Most of the questions you could have are probably already answered.

Damn... I'm really bored if I wrote this entire s**t

Again Offtopic, Mods u might find this useful though..

Bruce, i checked your fpad post, well i might have something which might kill your boredom for good maybe... see i really want to get to the bottom of linux based phones but i have never been exposed to the coding like

    "/ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/
    /ezxlocal/
    /mmc/mmca1/ "

so if u can be kind enough to teach some of this stuff well i appreciate the effort and will pass the knowledge... i somehow feel that you are right about the point logging into motorolafans only to check new developements, probably it is time for new users to take over..

They already kind of did take over When I was a real noob with linux and e6 there were oher guys around here... Then we, the old noobs, became the new "seniors" and got to teach others... Now those are the experienced ones on the forum.. Quite a cycle here.
Anyway there isn't so much activity as it was before..

    "/ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/
    /ezxlocal/
    /mmc/mmca1/ "
There is no coding in this. Those are just folder paths.

So... I suppose you have windows. And in windows you have partitions in my computer. Well, in linux you don't have the partitions separated in my computer or something. Everything is under a ROOT folder called: /
In that folder you have kind of everything. Here's a LINK where you can see a short description.
So as I already said, the upper "codes" are folder paths. eg: /mmc/mmca1/ is actually the removable card

Even the moderators are not so active lately. I thought we couldn't post links for software like RSDlite and someone did.. Those totally offtopic posts are still here.

Anyway, waiting for the next question and continuing with the offtopic...

Bruce agreed that there is no or less activity here for my e6... can you suggest any other active. I think motofunvn will do good.

I know they are folder paths but my question is in windows i know that my programs are in the program files folder and my os files are stored in win32 and system folders. I know that i cannot meddle with files on win32 or system folder. Is there any condition as such on linux os or on e6 os.

Thank you for the link... will go through that after work and probably have questions on that... will surely ask you... again thanks.

    Sure, they are just everywhere.
    Linux's directory structure
Just make sure you know what you are doing.

    that link is even better

i don't know about motofunvn it doesn't seem too english to me but if you can deal with it go for it. the information is all you want. i do believe you won't find something better than motorolafans.com but who knows.. i think it's the best regarding a1200 and e6 and the only one as good is the russian motofan.ru

There obiously are some locations like that but you shouldn't worry about that as you most probably won't mess anything up... and in the worst scenario you can reflash and it's brand new. there is no condition such as "don't touch that folder or it gets ugly". if you know what you are doing go ahead
