Problem installing pkg files on E6

hello all,
I am a new user of motorokr e6 phone. I want to hav a good application to play music files much louder than real player does.
After a thorough search in this forum and thru google i got different versions of mpkg installer which i copied into my .system folder. The software icons are seen but with black exclamatory on yellow background. i am trying it frm several weeks and hav not got any solution.

Do I hav to flash the firmware?
will ther b any problem to my phone if i flash any new firmware??
pls provide me the flas files..

first of all welcome to Motorolafans buddy feel free to share n ask ur quries here.
well as u said abt the exclamatory marks u should first chk out the firmware version which one are u using
u can do that by dialing www08w on ur dialpad just note it down. the last nos. which may appear as .08P or .22p

then there are some generic f/w which do not support MPKG so to get rid of it n to enjoy various applications on ur E6 u need to flash ur fone wid a modded firmware. you can choose the firmware as per ur requirement over here:

And do not worry! nothin will happen to ur fone if u do evrythin as said.
