    try to push in motorola text (upper the jog dial/joypad)hold it, try to push the upper menu(still pushing) if it work your digitizer got dusty in the socket connector, you should disassemble ur phone and clean it manually

    Any E6 opening tutorial around. These mobile are very tricky that way ..

    Also i hardly think if i have required tools in my tool box..

    Noticed one thing ... Whenever top menu freezes , if i press top corner of joystick- top menu becomes normal...

    This is not permanent solution though.

    maybe your digitizer got a bit loose in its socket, or the socket is dusty, the worst case is your digitizer is halfway to dead the solution is try to open ur phone and clean the socket, check maybe theres any screw that got loose, or something broke inside(hope not) how to open... here http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/a...manual_174.zip good luck and becarefull
